Cave Rudi is located in the Dondushan region in the vicinity of the village of Rudi, on the right bank of the Dniester river. The entrance to the cave is located on the open slope of the ravine 20 m above its swampy bottom.
The cave belongs to the subclass of karstogenic, subtype of corrosion-erosion cavities.

A complete topographical plan of this cave, which passes to the east into a narrow impassable channel, has been compiled. In terms of the cave is almost a straight course. Immediately behind the entrance there is a rather large entrance hall 3 m high and 4 m wide, then there is a slight narrowing up to 1 m wide, 6-9 m high, then the passage again expands to 8 m and gradually narrows to end of the cave. The height of the passage after expansion is about 2 meters, and in the center of the passage in some places up to 6 m. The cross section of the passage is incorrect, the roof is either flat or turning into a crack. The bottom is horizontal, the walls are treated with water.

The cave was laid in a grayish-white limestone-shell rock, lying horizontally. The bottom is covered with boulders, gravel, clay. There is no water in the cave. The cave is known to the locals, there are a lot of fires and all sorts of rubbish in it. It is mentioned in tourist literature (Pilat, 1968; Pronin, 2002). The cave was described by Odessa speleologists Beskrovna L.A. And
Koloshnits T.K. August 26, 1982.

The entrance to the cave, in the form of a manhole measuring 0.8×0.5 m, was repeatedly filled up by local authorities.
