Year of formation – 1984
The club is registered as a non-governmental organization as a legal entity in 1990 and is the only speleological organization in the Republic of Moldova.
The club is a volunteer-based organization with the participation and equality of all its members interested in the implementation of search programs, first ascent, research and protection of the underground cavities of the Republic of Moldova.

Our activities:
● Research, monitoring, mapping of the “Zolushka / Emil Rakovitsa” cave, Briceni district, from 1984 until now.
● Cleaning the “Zolushka / Emil Rakovitsa” Cave in 2006.
● We discovered, explored, mapped the “Surpriselor” cave in Criuleni district.
● Participated in the international expeditions in the karst massifs of the Caucasus.
● Together with the Ukrainian Speleologists Association participated (2004 – 2007) in expeditions to explore the deepest caves in the world “Krubera / Voronya”, under the auspices of National Geographic.
● Participated in international expeditions in the karst massifs of the Caucasus, Crimea, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Albania, Croatia, Armenia.
● We explored 36 new speleological objects (measurement, cartography, research, documentation, etc.).
● Organized by the Moldovan international sector (23 countries) the conference “Hypogene speleogenesis and hydrogeology of the artesian karst basins” based on the rock station “Zolushka / Emil Rakovitsa” in May 2009.
● Realization of round tables, seminars on the protection of Moldovan caves.
● Conducted speleology schools among youth for 11 years.
● Member of the “European Speleological Federation” since 2012.
