Surprizelor Cave was laid out along a system of lateral repulse cracks developed between limestone blocks on the right bank of the Dniester River near the town of Criuleni. The total length of the passages is 925 meters*. This is the 2nd largest cave among the Moldavian caves.

General information
The cave is located on the territory of the Criuleni region of the Republic of Moldova, 500m. southwest of the bridge across the Dniester river.
Surpriselor refers to the type of dilatancy-corrosion cavities. This is a large complex labyrinth cave laid out along a system of side-wall cracks developed between limestone blocks.
